All plants are our brothers
and sisters.    They talk to us
and we listen,
we can hear them.

The Lord said we are
to look after His Garden
and we are responsible for it.

Reverend Billy Graham,
Parade Magazine,
October 20, 1996

I am very grateful today to see the sunlight and to see Mother Earth,
to see the medicine in the trees, all the beautiful things You gave us,
and the medicine that is everyplace.
Each time I move my feet, I'm on the Mother Earth.
The ground is soft as I lie on the Mother.
I fall asleep on the ground and wake up happy.
I go with the Mother Earth into the Spirit World.
I go into the woods and feel the spirit all around me.  I watch the animals.
Mother Earth gives me strength as I sit on it, or walk upon it.
I love the Mother Earth and I take care of the land which holds up my feet.

Hurt not the earth.

Revelation 7:3

It really boils down to this;
that all life is interrelated.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
"A Christmas Sermon on Peace" 1967

By protecting the natural environment and working to forever halt
the degradation of our planet, we will also show respect for
Earth's human descendents -- our future generations -- as well as
for the natural right to life of all of earth's living things.
If we care for nature, it can be rich, bountiful, and inexhaustivly
sustainable.  We have the responsibility, as well as the capability,
to protect the Earth's habitats.  If they are to be known
by future generations, as we have known them, we must act now.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama

For the fate of humans and
the fate of animals is the same...
humans have no advantage
 over the animals.

Ecclesiastes 3:19

Do you not see that it is Allah who praises
all beings in the heavens and on earth do celebrate,
and the birds (of the air) with wings outspread?
Each one knows its own (mode of) prayer and praise.

Holy Qur'an 24:4

If you have two loaves of bread, trade one for the narcissus flower.
For the bread feeds the body, while the flower nourishes the soul.

The Holy Prophet Mohammad

The Earth is the Lord's and all the fullness thereof,
the world, and all those who live in it.

Psalm 24:1
